Omaha fans were excited Sunday night for Bombay Bicycles Club first appearance in Omaha for their North American Headline Tour. To start the show off, the band touring with Bombay Bicycle Club on the first leg of the tour, known as Mustard Service, played a half-hour set. Mustard Service did an excellent job of playing in a way that made the show feel intimate, I would describe it as jamming at a house show- but bigger and better. They had great band chemistry and brought a fun energy to really get the crowd engaged before their exit.

Soon, Bombay Bicycle Club hit the stage, coming on with extremely high energy, as excitement grew in the room. This band puts on an incredible show, and it is clear that there is not only a passion for making music, but also an intentional focus on giving a prepared and well-executed performance. In my opinion, Bombay Bicycle Club sounds practically the exact same live as they do recorded, which meets expectations for their fans and is very impressive to see (giving a shout-out here to the production crew and team as well for their hard work!).

This show was the epitome of if “hanging out with friends” was a full concert. They played a curated selection of their songs including “Everything Else Has Gone Wrong”, and a heartfelt acoustic version of fan-favorite, “You Already Know”. Their set had a run time of an hour and a half with the addition of two encore songs “Turn The World On” and “Shuffle”. I highly recommend checking out one of their upcoming tour dates, and having a guaranteed good time at one of their future shows!
